Hello It's been a long time!
it has been awhile since I posted here. I have done a lot with programming lately and am officially majoring in computer science. Just figured if I post something it might bring this community back to life. :)

VB.net Setting Up Outlook
Ok I know there are easier things to do but with the limitations I'm given by my boss who is the "Network Admin" so to speak I have to do stuff like this as a work-around.
I am setting up an app that can be run to setup intranet settings like home page and proxy. Already have that portion done. The second part is setting up outlook. I need to have it so it will setup an account for the first time automatically with minimal entry. Preferably the user name would be the most I'd like to have to have the user enter. I however can not figure out or find code on the intranet sites. Anyone could help I'd be highly appreciative.

I don't know if anyone else in this community will have got this far yet, but...
Can anyone point me in the right direction for enumerating the Classes within my Assembly, and then enumerating the Members of those Classes?
The plan is this:
I'm using a very lightweight database engine (SQLite - specifically, the System.Data.SQLite wrapper which is fantastic - you can also link it with your binary, Google for ILMerge)
What I want to do is to write a number of Classes which inherit from a generic Database Table Base Class. The Base Class has a Method called SelfCheck. This Method (called on all Classes which inherit from the Base Class at startup) checks the table in the database against the Members of the Class, and takes action if there is a mismatch. The action may be to CREATE TABLE, or to rebuild the table with any extra columns which were missing. This allows for a quick, simple & transparent upgrade path for the end user, and means I (or others in the future) won't have to keep messing about with table generation scripts.

help fast please!!
i need help!!
i'm new at this programming stuff...
i have an assignment due in 45 mins and i cant figure it out.
Write a program (console application in visual basic) which asks the user to enter two integer numbers. Then it checks the two numbers to see which one is larger and which is smaller, and prints the statement: The ### is the larger number. (Note that the actual number should substitute the ###’s in the output.)
please, if anyone could do this for me i'd be so so grateful.

Layered picture boxes?
I'm trying to layer picture boxes. Specifically, I've got a slide bar and an indicator. I'm trying to get the indocator to overlay the slide bar so I can move it, via code, left and right, depending on what the user has clicked.
For whatever reason, the bar is appearing OVER the marker and I can't make it reverse (so the smaller marker is floating over the bar. Is this possible?
Thanks!! Current Mood: frustrated

Just randomly looking around on LJ and came accross the community.
I've been working as a VB6 / VB.net programmer for a couple of years now, and am also willing to help with anything if anyone needs me to. You guys still around? Feel free to drop me a message on AIM or whatever. :D
I do mostly VB.NET with a lot of different API calls, I have a lot of experience working with MS SQL Server databases, and the SqlClient namespace in vb.net.. that's mostly what we do as well.
Anyway. Hi. Current Mood: working

I am a Visual Basic Developer. I have worked with pretty much all versions of VB. Most of my work was in VB6. I am currently bobbing at chin level in vb.net. I looked around for a good community but did not find one that was active enough or targeted at .net. This community will be small for awhile, but do not be afraid to join and ask a question. I will personally try my best to answer until the community grows. My current project is accessing a MS SQL server database, so I have some knowledge there as well.
